Doheny State Beach RV Park

 Located only six miles from San Clemente, Doheny State Beach in Dana Point, California is one of the state’s most popular areas for those traveling in RV rentals or campers. Donated by oil tycoon Edward L. Doheny in 1931 for public use, the property became California’s first state beach and now attracts nearly a million visitors each year. On its northern end is a five acre lawn with volleyball courts and picnic facilities, as well as winds that are perfect for surfing. The camping area is located at the southern end of the beach, with some sites situated only a few feet from the sand.
